The versatile positions and rotational speed detectors
The rugged multiturn encoders AM...40 and AM...H 40 can be deployed in a wide variety of applications to detect positions and rotational speeds in rolling and steel mills, in mining operations as well as in ports and crane systems. They supply precise information about the position of the shaft and the number of rotations; for example, they are installed in hoisting gear applications to be able to determine the exact position at all times. Thanks in particular to the extremely rugged foot construction it is possible to easily attach additional encoders to the second shaft end.
