The rugged multiturn encoders AM...41 and AM...H 41 SIL 3 can be deployed in a wide variety of applications to detect position and rotational speed for integrated safety. AM...(H) 41 models fulfil the highest safety requirements and are certified to EN 61508 SIL CL3 and EN ISO 13849 PL e. They supply precise information about the position of the shaft and the number of rotations; they are installed in applications that with functional safety requirements, for example, in steel and rolling mills, in mining operations as well as in ports and crane systems. Thanks in particular to the extremely rugged foot construction it is possible to easily attach additional encoders to the second shaft end. |
